Dear NE Parents & Guardians,
Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you are finding ways to stay warm and safe as the winter weather continues to greet us each day with frigid temperatures.
It’s hard to believe that we have already celebrated the 100th Day of School and Valentine’s Day, but never fear, there is still plenty happening at North End.
Today we also celebrated School Resource Officer Day! I want to take a moment to recognize and thank Officer Pasquale Capozzoli for his dedication to keeping our school safe. His kindness, vigilance, and commitment to our students and staff make a tremendous difference every day. We truly appreciate all that you do, Mr. Pat!
Please be reminded that all schools will be closed February 17 & 18, 2025, in observance of Presidents’ Day.
Take a moment to review the attached letter from our Nurse’s Office regarding required annual health screenings. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Willis (caputo-willis.tiffany@cgschools.org).
Read Across America will be here before you know it! The attached document outlines the week’s activities for March 3 - 7, 2025. Your child should have also brought home information regarding the FSA Book Fair that will be held on February 25, 2025. There will be more to come regarding the FSA Read-a-Thon. Stay tuned!
Attention all singers Grades 3-8:
The CGHS Music Department is working on a "Musical In Concert" collaboration. On May 16, the CGHS Music Department along with MAUHS Music Department from Bennington, VT will rehearse all day and then put on a musical in concert: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The Music Department is in search of children for the chorus in the show. Please see the audition packet/materials attached. Any questions? Email jessen.jennifer@cgschools.org
Lastly, Daisy Kindergarten Troop 20392 is collecting items to help support the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter. Should you wish to assist with the cause, please see the attached for the requested items for donation.

NJSLA TESTING DATES:
Please note the following dates for the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA) for students in grades 3 & 4. The assessments will begin after morning announcements at approximately 8:45 a.m. Further details will be shared at a later date.
