Dear NE Parents & Guardians,
We have a number of events happening in the coming weeks. All schools will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025. The NE FSA Glow Dance will be held on January 25, 2025. Kindergarten’s first semester ends on January 31st and the Genesis Parent Portal will open for report card review on February 7th at 3:30 PM.
Kindergarten registration for the 2025-26 school year will take place on Saturday February 1st and Saturday March 1st from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Registration will take place at North End School. If you are unsure of what school your child will be attending please call 973-239-1550 x 6200 and they will direct you.

Pomptonian’s 6th Annual Healthy School Lunch Challenge is underway! This is an initiative designed to treat the cafeteria as an extension of the classroom while celebrating National Nutrition Month. Here are key details:
• Students are invited to submit a healthy recipe by February 24th.
• Submissions will be divided into three categories: Pre-K through 5th grade, 6th through 8th grades, and 9th through 12th grades.
• For each category, Pomptonian will select two Grand Prize Winners and one Super Grand Prize Winner.

NJSLA TESTING DATES:
Please note the following dates for the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA) for students in grades 3 & 4. The assessments will begin after morning announcements at approximately 8:45 a.m. Further details will be shared at a later date.
